Smith, who began her career as a flight attendant, was also named one of “50 Women to Watch” last year by the Wall Street Journal. She’ll talk about her career and address local air service. |

Nothing fishy going on here
Central Coast Seafood wants to be known for providing the freshest fish to its customers. But it also wants its products to be available down the road. So the family-owned company has made a commitment to sustainability, in part by partnering with the Nature Conservancy to develop a local model of fishery management, the first venture of its kind. Giovanni Comin, Central Coast Seafood's President/Owner, will discuss the company’s efforts and why they are important. |
Picking up the pigskin at Poly
Tim Walsh’s job as Cal Poly’s new football coach began in earnest this month with the start of spring practice. Walsh is taking over the winning program with a background of overall winning records as head coach at both Portland State and Sonoma State. Most recently, he was offensive coordinator at Army, where past Mustangs coach Rich Ellerson is taking over. Walsh will introduce himself and talk about the upcoming season. |

Where is the line when dealing with medical advances in human reproduction? Dr. Alex Steinleitner, a SLO-based reproductive and infertility specialist, will explore answers to those questions and more in light of the Octo-Mom saga and other ethical concerns. |
