What do Apple, HP, and Cisco have in common?

They all use San Luis Obispo-based LEVEL Studios to do some of their most important Internet development work. Although Level isn’t well known locally, they’re one of the top web design and technology firms in the nation. And they’ve just been hired to create a web presence for the new SLO Tourism Business Improvement District. LEVEL President/CEO Tom Adamski tells us how Level has been able to achieve national prominence from their base in SLO.

Is food grown and raised in SLO County always safe to eat?

Several national outbreaks of food-born disease this year have raised everyone’s awareness about the dangers of mishandled and contaminated food. Matt Lewis is the owner of Guardian Food Safety and is an expert on how to keep our food supply safe. He’ll give us the straight scope on how safe our local produce is.

General aviation: still flying below the radar

Non-airline private aviation, or general aviation, is the not-so-glamorous part of the aviation industry that has a large economic impact on communities like SLO. Bill Borgsmiller, President of  San Luis Jet Center, will tell us about the important role that general aviation plays in SLO and how his company has been able to grow here.
