Keeping hearts safe
About 325,000 lives are lost every year due to heart attacks. The odds of surviving an attack increase significantly if an automated external defibrillator device is nearby. In 2010 Lynne Callahan lost her beloved husband, SLO Fire Chief John Callahan, to a heart attack. If an AED had been available the situation may have been different. Lynne will be here to share how she is keeping John’s legacy alive with her new non-profit, the John W. Callahan Heart Safe Project, and what she is doing to make sure others have a fighting chance. |

To date they have been recognized by the White House as top 100 young entrepreneurs, made Inc. magazine’s prestigious 500 fastest growing companies list and even made a special appearance on the Chelsea Lately Show.
