Here are some ways you can help local children start their school year off right. \nDonate new school supplies for students of all ages. When you are shopping at our partner stores and you see the bus outside\, consider purchasing an extra item to add to the bus.\nTell your friends! Encourage them to come with you to the store\, or let them know when to look out for the big yellow bus. Follow us on Instagram (@unitedwayslo)\, and share photos with the tags #stuffthebus and #liveunited.\nBe a Stuff the Bus Volunteer! SUMMARY:Concerts in the Plaza - The JD Project
DESCRIPTION:The JD Project is a California Roots Rock group. \nHeralded as the premier concert series on the Central Coast\, Concerts in the Plaza features musical genres across the spectrum from reggae to rock\, blues to jamgrass\, soul\, California roots rock and more. Thousands attend each summer to dance\, enjoy the music and the venue with family and friends\, wind down after work or just have a great time during the 14-week season. \nLocal vendors sell snacks and food for hungry concert goers while Firestone Walker Brewing Company and Chamisal Vineyards supply beer and wine for purchase. Non-alcoholic beverages are provided as well. Bar and food vendors open at 5 PM. \nRemember… Concerts in the Plaza is a family friendly event. No outside alcoholic beverages or pets are allowed and this is a non-smoking event. Please refrain from placing chairs and/or other material on the grassy knoll before 11:30 AM.
