DESCRIPTION:The City of San Luis Obispo Transit (SLO Transit) will conduct a public meeting on Tuesday\, January 31st\, 2017 at 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM in compliance with federal regulations. The public meeting will be held at the City/County Library Community Room located at 995 Palm Street in San Luis Obispo. Attendees will have an opportunity to review and comment on the following draft plans: Fare Analysis and Title VI Program. The same content will be reviewed at both meeting times.\nThe Fare Analysis addresses the proposed fare changes in response to the State requirement for a 20% ratio of fare revenues to operating costs in urban areas. The Title VI Program outlines the commitment of SLO Transit in ensuring no person is excluded from participation in\, or denied the benefits of its transit services on the basis of race\, color\, or national origin.\nThe draft plans are available for public review on SLO Transit’s website at slotransit.org\, the City of San Luis Obispo Clerk’s Office at 990 Palm Street\, and the City of San Luis Obispo Public Works Department at 919 Palm Street. Public comments are encouraged and will be accepted: online at slotransit.org\, by email to slotransit@slocity.org\, or by mail to SLO Transit at 919 Palm Street\, San Luis Obispo\, California 93401.
