SUMMARY:Insight Studio | The Inclusivity Advantage
DESCRIPTION:“In the future\, winning companies will be those that learn to deploy the entire workforce productively and inclusively.” – McKinsey \nWho will be the next president\, CEO or executive director of your organization? While the bottom-line benefits of having more women in leadership positions are undeniable\, today our leaders are overwhelmingly male. \nThe good news? We can all be part of the solution and gain the competitive advantages that come from increasing diversity – from boosting the bottom line and raising morale to improving recruitment. \nWe’ve invited two of the most effective leaders in shrinking the gender gap\, GoDaddy Inc. CEO Blake Irving and Harvey Mudd College President Maria Klawe\, to share how they turned commitment into practice. \nParticipants will learn ways to inspire and empower women to build leadership capabilities\, discover the transformative powers of inclusivity and walk away with tools they can use to improve their business tomorrow. \nBlake Irving\nCEO at GoDaddy Inc.  \nA technology pioneer for 35+ years\, Irving has played a key role in digital tools and services that are now internet staples through executive roles at Microsoft\, Yahoo and GoDaddy. He’s emerged as a champion of women in technology\, leading a 180 of the company’s historically sexist image\, doubling female hires\, naming women to leadership positions and producing the documentary “CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap.” \nMaria Klawe\nPresident of Harvey Mudd College \nPassionate about making science\, technology\, engineering and mathematics accessible to diverse groups\, Klawe instituted initiatives that have raised the percentage of women majoring in computer science at Harvey Mudd from 10 to 40 percent. A renowned mathematician\, computer scientist and scholar\, Klawe became the first female president of the STEM-focused college in 2006. \n  \nThank you to our lead sponsor: \n \nAnd to our supporting sponsors: \n \n  \n
