DESCRIPTION:The Three Musketeers opens tonight\, Thursday\, July 19th! Show starts at 7:30pm\, gate at 6pm. Piemonte’s Deli will be offering lasagna\, deli combo boxes and desserts.  For Friday night’s show\, we will have pre-show music at 6:45pm-7:15pm with The Pour Boys. Beda’s will be offering their hearty German fare\, and Filipponi Ranch wines are available by the bottle or glass each evening. \n  \nCCSF presents our fifth season at the Filipponi Ranch with two hilarious productions. DESCRIPTION:The NTMAs return for the 10th year!\nSingers\, songwriters\, musicians\, performers\, and bands\, it’s once again your time to shine. The tenth annual New Times Music Awards is accepting entries from Thursday\, July 26–Monday\, August 20th at 5pm in five musical genre categories (including an “open” division)\, a songwriting category\, and an album of the year competition. The genre winners must be available to perform during the Friday\, November 2\, 2018 live judging competition at the Fremont Theater. Here’s the scoop: \nTickets are available for $10 each at the New Times office at 1010 Marsh Street\, SLO\, at the Sun’s office at 2540 Skyway Dr. Ste. A\, Santa Maria\, or online at My805Tix.com. Admission is free for active military and veterans. \nFind out if you’ve got what it takes to bring home a bronze Newtie!\n \nYou can enter up to ten original songs in each of the following genre categories: Country/Americana/Folk\, R&B/Blues\, Rock/Alternative\, Hip-Hop/Reggae/World\, Open\, and NEW THIS YEAR: Youth. \nYou may also enter up to three original songs in the songwriting competition (lyrics must be included). And you may enter one album released between July 27\, 2017 to August 20\, 2018\, for the album of the year category. Each song or album entry costs $10. Entry deadline is Monday\, August 20\, no later than 5 p.m. Enter online by following the link. \nA Readers Choice Award will be voted on October 5 through October 18. \nWinners in the five genre categories will play a live-judged show at the Fremont Theater on Friday\, November 2\, 2018 with one act crowned for Best Live Performance. SUMMARY:AMPSURF THIRTEENTH ANNUAL OPERATION RESTORATION
DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nPismo Beach\, CA — AmpSurf\, is a non-profit organization improving the quality of life for disabled persons and veterans through adaptive surfing and other programs. AmpSurf will hold its 13th annual Operation Restoration event August 2nd -5th in Pismo Beach California. 20 Warriors and family members from around the country will be attending the event and participating in events like Surfing\, Ocean Kayaking\, Outrigger Canoeing\, and taking a tour of the Port San Luis Light house. Surfing instruction is provided by AmpSurf Certified Adaptive Surf Instructors\, Kayaking by Central Coast Kayaks\, Outrigger Canoeing by Pali- Kia and the Port San Luis Light house tour is being provided by  the Port San Luis Lighthouse Keepers.  Surfing Instruction will be held at the Addie St. Beach access in Pismo on Aug. 4th & 5th\, from 7:30-11:30. \nSince 2003 AmpSurf has been sharing the healing power of the ocean with people living with disabilities including kids\, adults and those who have sacrificed serving our country. AmpSurf is teaching them through adaptive surfing to focus on abilities\, not their disabilities. \nWe have 20+ participants and family members coming out on Aug. 4th & 5th to learn to surf in Pismo\, to volunteer\, support or get more information\, about AmpSurf and the work the organization does around the country please visit AmpSurf at; www.ampsurf.org \n  \n  \n

It’s the best way to welcome and celebrate the start of the new month. Art After Dark is FREE\, every First Friday 6-9pm. Each First Friday hundreds of visitors converge on downtown SLO to see new art exhibits and add to their growing collections. With dozens of galleries and non-traditional exhibit spaces\, it’s SLO’s favorite night of the month to celebrate art within our community for free! Though many shops are open earlier\, Art After Dark officially starts at 6pm and runs to 9pm.
