SUMMARY:Doc Burnstein's 15th Anniversary Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Arroyo Grande – Fifteen years ago ice cream lovers were welcomed into the re-invented\nice cream parlor in the Village of Arroyo Grande\, becoming a landmark on the Central\nCoast. Greg Steinberger revived the location formerly known as Burnardo’z Ice Cream\nParlor with help from Burnado’z founder\, Chuck Burns. Together they brought back the\nsuperior quality ice cream while maintaining the old-fashioned charm with a twist of\nWonka-like touches. Steinberger kept Chuck’s famous miniature train running around the ceiling of the store to the delight of guests.\nThis August 18th\, Doc Burnstein’s is celebrating BIG with our special guest scooper\,\nJens Wagner\, our very first customer (all grown up now!) Jen’s custom flavor\, JD’s Slam\nDunk Chunk\, will be the featured flavor that day. There will be 15% discounts for Doc’s\nLoyalty Customers\, prizes and much more! The Grand Prize will be rewarded to a\nrandomly selected customer – an unforgettable and highly sought-after tour of the lab for15 of the lucky winner’s closest friends and family\, the opportunity to invent a new flavor and an appearance by “the Doc” himself! Who wouldn’t want to win that?\nIn addition to all the hoopla\, our latest mad scientist creation\, our Amazing Lab\nExperience will be revealed to the public in the Arroyo Grande Parlor. Similar to the\nexperience in our newest Santa Maria location\, you can enter the “Ice Cream Lab” and\nbehold “Franken-cone”\, the latest cool\, scientific creation. “Franken-cone” is a 4’ ice\ncream cone on a laboratory table\, ready to be brought to life by guests with lights\, sound\,\nvideo and a surprise blast of cryogenic freezing. Don’t be frightened; it’s made from the\nbest ingredients! “It’s alive\, it’s alive!”
