SUMMARY:Cal Poly Presents: 2019 Fifth-Year Architecture Thesis Showcase
DESCRIPTION:For the past 15 years\, Cal Poly’s graduating class of architecture students has collaborated to produce this annual exhibition as the final culmination of their undergraduate studies. The event features the completed year-long thesis projects of more than 175 fifth-year architecture students and celebrates the work of the nation’s most highly ranked public architecture program. It is an opportunity for these students to showcase their architectural research and design skills to peers\, family members\, alumni\, prospective employers and the community of supporters of Cal Poly’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design. In addition\, it provides a chance for these groups to come together\, connect\, exchange ideas\, and celebrate before our seniors embark on meaningful careers in the field. \nThis show is entirely planned\, organized and run by fifth-year architecture students. However\, the costs associated with hosting the event are dependent on private funding\, including sponsorship from individuals such as yourself. Donations help support the cost of the exhibition\, including renting the exhibition venue\, providing refreshments on opening night\, acquiring the necessary event security\, and other such expenses. \nYour generous contribution by May 25th will help make the 16th annual Fifth Year Architecture Show a success\, enabling students to showcase design work that consistently earns national recognition for its excellence. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and will make a difference in bringing us closer to our goal. As a small token of our thanks\, every supporter with a donation of at least $15 will be recognized in the exhibition program. \nThank you for your support! \n2019 Fifth Year Architecture Student Committee \nLocation: Multi Activity Center\, Building 43 \nDirections to Cal Poly will provide you with instructions on how to arrive by car\, as well as using other common methods of transportation. The Multi Activity Center can be found at the back of the Recreation Center (Building 43)\, identifiable as the red building at the corner of Longview Ln and Hathway Ave. Parking can be found along the residential streets or in the Grand Avenue Structure (daily parking rates will apply for parking Friday in the structure).

CCRD is a charter member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA)\, which is the only international governing body to regulate interstate and international play for flat track roller derby.
