Visit the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm to experience the textural floral collection of this beautiful original artwork. \n\n\n\n\n \n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Artist Perez Salazar draws inspiration for the bounty and beauty of nature. He states about his oversized paintings\, “Flower blossoms have been the promise before the fruit. It is nature’s way of announcing its unfolding power to create and to deliver future nourishment … flowers have done so for thousands of years. The diversity and large amounts of blossoms fill and overflow the formal ground to the max\, producing heighten feelings of positive human emotions of plenitude and abundance.” \nImmerse yourself in these splendid paintings at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden. All pieces are for sale\, and proceeds benefit the Garden. \nJuan Manuel Perez Salazar resides on the central coast\, where he is an avid artist and gardener. His work has been displayed in\, Mexico\, India\, and throughout California. His studio practice explores boundaries of painting and sculpture\, crossing and transposing various modes of styles in search of his own images. The experiential and cultural associations of specific subjects and materials fuels his exploration. Inspired by the symbolism and beauty of the natural world\, he utilizes blossoms to seduce the observer to take pleasure in watching flowers bloom. DESCRIPTION:MINDFULNESS MEDITATION FOR EVERYONE: CULTIVATING BALANCE\, PEACE & AWARENESS\nWITH MEDITATION GUIDE\, DAWN FEUERBERG\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCome build a meditation community at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden\, EVERY Tuesday morning from 11:30AM – 12:15PM. Meditation instructor\, Dawn Feuerberg will de-mystify meditation with clear\, concise\, and practical guidance. Dawn will begin each class with breath work to calm the nervous system. She will then guide you through classic mindfulness meditation techniques for 20 minutes to bring balanced relaxation\, restore your energy\, improve well-being and clear the mind. Mantra Practice will be offered to experience more depth & increase focus.  Dharma Talks will be interwoven on the underlying principles of meditation\, the power of gratitude\, bliss consciousness\, and developing a daily practice that supports you wherever you are. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDrop-in sessions are $10 Garden Members\, $15 public.
