Hear from Liz Pozzebon and Laurie Salo of the County’s Environmental Health Services Division on the Readiness to Reopen Self Certification Form restaurants and retail will need to complete\, as well as from Ann McDowell\, SLO County Epidemiologist on health and safety considerations. Additionally\, we will be joined by Samantha Welch\, Operations Director of Blue Mango Management group\, on how their restaurants have been preparing. Don’t miss this timely and informative conversation that will help shed some light as we transition into the next phase of reopening. \n\n\n\n\n\nSPEAKERS\n\nLiz Pozzebon has more than 25 years of experience and is the Environmental Health Director for the Environmental Health Services Division of the County of San Luis Obispo Public Health Department. She and her team have assisted in the creation of the County’s reopening guidelines. \n\nLaurie Salo is a Supervising Environmental Health Specialist with more than 25 years of experience. She coordinates and oversees the food safety program in the Environmental Health Services Division of the County of San Luis Obispo Public Health Department and serves on the County’s Public Health taskforce that helped create the reopening guidelines. \n\nAnn McDowell has been involved in the health field for more than 30 years\, with the past 19 years employed as the San Luis Obispo County Epidemiologist in the department of Public Health. Her expertise has been critical during the COVID-19 pandemic and in planning the County’s recovery. \n\nSamantha Welch is the Operations Director of Blue Mango Management Services\, the group behind SLO County restaurants Novo\, Luna Red\, Robin’s in Cambria and Mint+Craft. Welch studied Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Massachusetts\, Amherst and additionally pursued Six Sigma Greenbelt and Level II Sommelier certifications.
