SUMMARY:San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden: Pickets for Programs Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate public art and connect with nature\, all while helping fence the Children’s Garden at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden. The Garden is offering a unique opportunity to buy\, paint\, and display fence pickets as a fundraiser for education programs. Your contribution of $150 per picket supports the Garden and displays your decoratively painted picket from 2021 through 2023. Socially-distanced painting parties will be scheduled October through December at the Garden\, where you can get inspiration from nature. \nEach picket is $150. Not feeling artistic? An additional $50 gets your picket painted by a local artist. Group pricing is available. The Garden will provide paints and materials. The Garden is located at 3450 Dairy Creek Rd. It is spread out on 150 acres in El Chorro Regional Park off Highway 1 between Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo. Through its programs and facilities\, the Garden fosters an appreciation and understanding of the relationship between people and nature\, and encourages a sense of stewardship for the natural environment.
