Come be a part of San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden’s Art in the Garden Art Show and Fundraiser! This free\, in-person event will be held at the Oak Glen Pavilion at the Garden April 30th – May 16th\, Thursdays through Sundays from 11 AM to 5 PM All art will be for sale and a portion of the sales will benefit San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden. \n  \nArt in the Garden is an annual event hosted by the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden as an opportunity to showcase local\, high-quality original art and gather in our open & safe outdoor grounds and gardens!  This event runs for 2 weeks\, and is jam-packed with colorful glass work\, paintings\, pottery\, succulent arrangements\, exquisite jewelry design\, photography and more – from 15 local artists! Come see our artist demonstrations on Saturdays and some Sundays from 12-4 PM. This event draws people from all over this county and further to collect art\, take in the natural flora and fauna of the garden and enjoy much needed respite. \n  \nEntry to the Garden will be free on the first weekend\, May 1st-2nd (normally a $5 per person value) while our Spring Plant Sale is underway. A highly recognized community leader\, Heidi has received awards form the American Association of University Women\, March of Dimes Woman of Achievement\, the State of Pennsylvania Senate\, and has been honored as one of the top 50 Women In Business on the Central Coast by the Pacific Coast Business Times four times. Heidi currently serves on the board of the League of California Community Foundations and the Public Policy Committee. She has also served on the on the SLO Chamber Business Council and as a Senior Advisor for the Women’s Funding Network.

DESCRIPTION:The Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo will livestream a performance by the Arthur White Quartet on Friday\, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. as part of their ‘LIVE from the PAC’ free virtual concert series. \nThis month’s performance features Cal Poly professor and saxophonist Arthur White joined by vibraphonist Sean Collins\, bassist Dylan Johnson\, and drummer Darrell Voss. White is a nationally recognized composer\, arranger\, touring saxophonist\, and director of jazz studies at Cal Poly. The local musicians have joined together for an evening of original music composed by Arthur White. \nThe Vimeo streaming link will be available on April 30 on the event webpage\, and the show will be available to watch on demand after the livestream.
