Come be a part of San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden’s Art in the Garden Art Show and Fundraiser! This free\, in-person event will be held at the Oak Glen Pavilion at the Garden April 30th – May 16th\, Thursdays through Sundays from 11 AM to 5 PM All art will be for sale and a portion of the sales will benefit San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden. \n  \nArt in the Garden is an annual event hosted by the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden as an opportunity to showcase local\, high-quality original art and gather in our open & safe outdoor grounds and gardens!  This event runs for 2 weeks\, and is jam-packed with colorful glass work\, paintings\, pottery\, succulent arrangements\, exquisite jewelry design\, photography and more – from 15 local artists! Come see our artist demonstrations on Saturdays and some Sundays from 12-4 PM. DESCRIPTION:Saturdays 8am – 1pm \nSharpen your photographic skills\, take control of your camera\, and achieve your artistic goals in the natural setting of Montana de Oro. Starting with a morning hike through one of the most panoramic paths on the central coast\, learn how to work with light and shadows to capture creative compositions of these expansive coastal landscapes. In-classroom instruction will follow at the Buen Dia Store in downtown SLO. You will work with your RAW images to set up a solid digital workflow and master photo editing techniques to produce a 13×19 photo print you will take home with you the very same day! \nPhoto prints are printed using 100% Eco-friendly cotton paper and vegetable-based ink. \nWorkshops are kept small\, at a maximum of 8 people\, so all the participants can get one-on-one time with the instructors. Workshops are open to photo enthusiasts of every experience level\, however we recommend having prior knowledge of basic camera technique for the Landscape Photography Hike. \nSimply select the date that best suits your schedule.
