DESCRIPTION:Summer Surf Camps For Kids (Grades K-8) \nWeek-Long Day Camps Starting June 6th\, 2022 Until August 26th\, 2022 in Beautiful Pismo Beach! \nOur week-long day camps run Monday through Friday from 8:30-1:30 each week this summer starting June 6th. The last week of camp is the week of August 22nd. Camps are limited to no more than 10 kids a week. Camps are filled with surfing\, beach play\, playing in the ocean\, making friends\, and creating epic memories. We are stoked to share our love of the ocean by teaching campers about water safety and surfing fundamentals. DESCRIPTION:YPNG’s Fall softball season will begin in mid-August. The season is 10 weeks long\, with games taking place every week (excluding holidays). \nGames are played at El Chorro Regional Park (across from Cuesta College) or at Santa Rosa Park in SLO with starting times at either 6:30\, 7:40\, or 8:50. \nOnce signups are completed and coaches assigned\, teams will be drafted and you will be contacted by your assigned coach who will also provide you with your team t-shirt and game schedule. SUMMARY:Goodwill Central Coast the Back-to-School Backpacks Giveaway
DESCRIPTION:San Luis Obispo radio station Wild 106.1 will hold a three-week promotion from July 15-Aug. 10\, rewarding one deserving elementary school with 100 filled backpacks from Goodwill. Wild 106.1 will reach out to its listeners for two weeks\, asking them to nominate a school in SLO that deserves and needs the backpacks. The Top 10 schools will be featured on the station’s website and listeners will be asked to vote for the most deserving one. The winning school will be announced on air the following week\, and Goodwill will present the backpacks on the front steps of the winning school.
