SUMMARY:SLO Museum of Art Presents: And Also... By Charlie Rugg
DESCRIPTION:The SLO Museum of Art is will be featuring the exhibit And Also… by Charlie Rugg from March 3rd until May 29th. \nCharlie Rugg is an abstract and portrait oil painter based in San Luis Obispo\, California. Rugg’s work converges on exploring the collective nature of elements that make up human experience\, and how they may be used to create a moment of perspective removed from the self. Rugg’s And Also… exhibition highlights our instinct to construct and define existence around story and the shape of the emergent narrative that comes to life when our stories are viewed as one. \nSLOMA is open from 11 AM until 5 PM every day of the week except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Admission is free.

SUMMARY:SLO REP Presents: A Doll’s House\, Part 2
DESCRIPTION:A slammed door. An awkward favor. And no\, you don’t need to see Part 1. \nAs a door slams in 1879 Norway\, a young wife and mother leaves behind her family\, freeing herself from the shackles of traditional societal constraints. Now\, 15 years later\, that same door opens to reveal Nora\, a changed woman with an incredibly awkward favor to ask the people who she abandoned. Lucas Hnath’s bitingly funny sequel to Ibsen’s revolutionary masterpiece unfolds in a series of bristling stand-offs that reveal in Nora’s world\, much like our own\, behind every opinion there is a person\, and a slamming door isn’t just an end\, but also the chance for a new beginning.
