Adam Parker Smith has a unique ability to address complex themes in a whimsical\, light-hearted way that makes his work incredibly accessible. \nAdam Parker Smith is a sculpture and installation artist. He attended the University of California at Santa Cruz (BA Painting\, 2000)\, the Tyler School of Art at Temple University (MFA Painting\, 2003)\, and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2008).

Harvey\, who was there for the semester as an artist in residence in painting. Their first conversations were about art and poetry. At SLOMA\, they will be exhibiting together for the first time.

DESCRIPTION:Vocal Arts Ensemble will present\, “Welcome to Summer” concert series this June featuring a variety of American spiritual\, folk and international music.  In existence for over 45 years\, Vocal Arts strives to bring excellence to choral music and delight crowds with their award-winning choir. Concerts will be held on Thursday\, June 1 at 7:00 pm at Trilogy Monarch Dunes in Nipomo and on Saturday\, June 3 at 3:00 PM at Cuesta College Performing Arts Center. Parking is free & refreshments are served during intermission. Gary Lamprecht musical Director known for his exciting and eclectic repertoire will be conducting. \n
