A monthly breakfast program that sits community leaders\, business owners\, nonprofit executives and staffers literally at the same table\, and enables us to reconnect\, engage\, and learn from each other about what makes our community great. \nGood Morning SLO happens on the fourth Thursday of every month except November when it is on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. There is no Good Morning SLO in December. \nDoors open at 7 a.m. for networking and the program starts promptly at 7:30 a.m.

DESCRIPTION:A Conversation with… Entrepreneurial Women\nAs Insight Studio grows and increases programming\, we are proud to introduce our Conversation Series. Join us for a glass of wine and an informal conversation with established and up-and-coming entrepreneurs shaping San Luis Obispo. \n\n  \nTransforming something that many see as common and boring into something beautiful and unique is not only an artistic outlet for Jenny Kompolt\, it’s a therapeutic exercise. What started as therapy to battle anxiety and depression has turned into exclusive products for Bloomingdales and features at Levi’s Stadium as well as Sundance Resort. The JunkGirls co-founder spent what appears to be a former life as creative director for Netflix\, working in partner marketing at eBay and ran her own graphic design and promotional agency\, Kompolt Online Auction Agency before making art her full time gig \n\n  \nJasmine McDermott and her team at Z Living Systems are coming in hot. Not only did they recently debuted their first local project at the new MINDBODY headquarters\, they also finished up a living wall at a high-end resort in Los Angles and are working on plans to install a 2\,000-square-foot wall in San Francisco. The co-founder of the HotHouse-raised living wall design and building company has been working as part of a team of three to re-incorporate nature into living and work spaces as well as cities and urban landscapes to create unique environments. \n\nKimberly Walker\, the Granada Hotel and Bistro managing partner and creator of Wine Wipes has always been the adventurous type. After college the soon-to-be entrepreneur embarked on a number of ventures that put her in front of a class in Tanzania teaching AIDS awareness\, had her producing a play empowering women in Africa and administering polio vaccinations in Nigeria. Since that time she has started a small business that has been featured on national television and international magazines\, and has helped to create one of the most popular spots on the Central Coast.
