He currently serves as vice chair of the Job\, Economic Development and Economy Committee as well as the Rules Committee. Additionally\, he is a member of the Agriculture\, Business and Professions\, Utilities and Energy\, and Transportation committees.\n\nHe recently worked to secure $85 million to help SLO County communities mitigate the impacts of the Diablo Canyon closure as well as $197 million to fix the deadly “Y” intersection of Highways 41 and 46 in Cholame.
