DESCRIPTION:Every month SLO Chamber members gather after hours to catch up\, meet new members\, do a bit of networking and get an inside glance at a local business. \nMembership Mixers happen on the third Wednesday of every month and provide an opportunity for members to get to know each other and share business contacts all in the friendly confines of a member business. \nA benefit to all Chamber members\, these networking events provide the opportunity for the host to showcase their digs\, show off what they do and maybe even boast a little about the services they offer. \nAll members are welcome to invite a non-member as a one-time guest. Back from a COVID recess with renewed energy\, Jacqueline Frederick will share an update on the organization and how businesses can be involved in their important work. \n\nPROVIDING SHELTER AND YIELDING OPPORTUNITY \nAs homeless service organizations uncover new ways to provide housing and support\, empathetic and knowledgeable staff are needed to bring them forward. We asked Matt Navarrette to share his perspective on leadership and how his experience with the El Camino Homeless Organization led to his role as Shelter Manager. \n\nWHAT’S THE SCORE? \nSo much is made of the scores given to wine.
