DESCRIPTION:Grab lunch from your favorite local restaurant (or your kitchen) and join us on Friday from 12 – 12:30 PM on Facebook LIVE for a stimulating conversation with SLO Chamber President/CEO\, Jim Dantona and Executive Director for Leadership Development\, Dan Rivoire! \nThis weekly time slot will be henceforth dedicated to hosting lunchtime conversations with people in our community doing interesting and innovative things. It is our hope that they will be informative and entertaining so that during those last few hours of our work week\, we feel a little more connected with one another as we head into the weekend. \nWe hope to see you on our San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce Facebook page on Friday\, April 24th at 12 p.m. And don’t forget your lunch! \nThis Week’s Guest\n \nDan Rivoire joined the Chamber as Executive Director for Leadership Development with extensive experience in the public\, private\, and nonprofit sectors of the economy. He spent the last three years in the role of Vice President of Wholesale and Organizational Development at iFixit preceded by four years serving as Council Member Elect with the City of San Luis Obispo and seven years as Executive Director of Bike SLO County. \nDan was born in Chicago\, moved to SLO in 2003 to attend Cal Poly and quickly developed strong connections to local causes. He strives to improve local quality of life by promoting active living\, bringing a new perspective to city government\, and fighting for a more inclusive community. \nUnless he’s out having fun playing hockey\, surfing\, or rolling around on his mountain bike\, you’ll probably find him in the garden or kitchen\, whipping up meals for the family. Dan lives in San Luis Obispo with his partner Megan and two-year-old daughter Veona Maeve.
