DESCRIPTION:Join us for this week’s  webinar series when we sit down with Assistant San Luis Obispo County Administrative Officer\, Guy Savage and City of San Luis Obispo City Manager\, Derek Johnson as we convene to seek clarity on the recently shared START Guide. Additionally\, we will hear from the speakers how the Governor’s revised order may affect our region. \nThe START Guide can be found on EmergencySLO.org. After you read through the START Guide please follow this link to let us know what you thought\, so we can help shape the webinar around your feedback. \nA few things to keep in mind when you read the START Guide: \n\nThe Governor’s order still stands\, and until it is updated and counties have been given authority\, we will continue to shelter in place\nThese are guidelines and best practices for our County’s phased reopening\, not a rulebook\nThis is a living document and will be updated.\n\n\nSPEAKERS\nAs Assistant San Luis Obispo County Administrative Officer\, Guy Savage assists in the overall management of operations\, finances\, and policies of the County. Savage previously served as the County Budget Director where his efforts helped lead the County to a “AAA” rating. In his capacity\, Savage also serves as the Emergency Services Director\, which has put him at the helm of the County’s COVID response and recovery. \nDerek Johnson is the City Manager for the City of San Luis Obispo and prior to stepping into his current role\, served as the Community Development Director\, Interim Finance and IT Director and Assistant City Manager for the City of San Luis Obispo. Derek has been leading the COVID-19 response for the City of San Luis Obispo.  \n\nThis webinar will also be streaming LIVE on our Facebook page.
