DESCRIPTION:Grab lunch from your favorite local restaurant (or your kitchen) and join us on Friday from 12 – 12:30 PM on Facebook LIVE for a stimulating conversation with Port San Luis Harbor Manager\, Andrea Lueker and SLO Chamber President/CEO\, Jim Dantona. \nAbout this week’s guest: \nAndrea Lueker has been Harbor Manager at Port San Luis Harbor District since 2015. She has also taught both finance and grant writing classes\, as an adjunct professor at Cal Poly. Prior to that she spent two years as the Executive Director of a newly formed\, nonprofit organization that was instrumental in securing historic fishing privileges to the Central Coast. Andrea began her career with 27 years at the City of Morro Bay\, including seven as City Manager. \nAndrea holds volunteer leadership roles in a number of other organizations including the California Association of Harbormasters and Port Captains\, Morro Bay Community Quota Fund\, Los Osos Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee\, Land Conservancy and SLO Chamber Legislative Action Committee\, Creeklands Conservation and the International City/County Management Association. Andrea has a Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University and a Master’s Degree from Cal Poly.
