She has worked in human resources for over 4 years\, with a specialization in the hospitality industry. Casola strongly believes there is a necessary shift from seeing human resources as the terminator and viewing the role as the biggest encouragement for employees.  \n\nMisty Epperson has called the Central Coast home for over 20 years!  Epperson made a career change and began working in the Human Resources field in 2015 and found her passion.  In 2018\, she earned her SHRM- Certified Professional certification. She is the Human Resources and Benefits Manager for Scientific Drilling International and currently serves as President of the Human Resources Association of Central Coast. \n\nSarah Davis developed Trust Automation’s Trust Children Center. She has been working with children for 25 years\, starting as a Special Education Assistant at 18. Davis lives in Arroyo Grande with her husband\, two daughters and dog and enjoys cooking\, gardening and going out to eat with her family. \n\n\nTami Douglas-Schatz is the Human Resources Director for the County of San Luis Obispo and has an extensive background in Human Resources. Douglas-Schatz is active in the California State Association of Counties HR Directors’ Association\, having served as President and in all other Board positions for five years. She has a passion for growth and development and organizational change management.  \n\nLindsey Miller serves on the Strategy\, Policy\, and Engagement team at Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) Company’s Diablo Canyon Power Plant (DCPP)\, leading the retraining and redeployment efforts for the over 1100 coworkers in advance of the plant’s closure in 2024/5. Lindsey has become intimately involved in the childcare needs for the DCPP employees and how to support their work/life balance needs. \n\nLeslie Mehigan works with the Central Coast Breastfeeding Coalition. Mehigan is a public health professional and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with wide experience educating professionals and the general public to execute\, accomplish\, and protect current infant health recommendations. \n\nAngela Toomey is the Director of Human Resources at Morris and Garritano. She has a BS in Psychology\, is HIPPA certified and is a Certified Compensation Professional from World at Work. Along with over two decades of experience in the Human Resources field\, she is passionate about achieving organizational growth and development by getting the right people into the right jobs at the right time. \n\nKely Blackburn is the Human Resources Business Advisor at Morris and Garritano Insurance. A born and raised Central Coast native\, she has spent the last 15 years building a strong career in Human Resources and Operations. Complimented by a BA in Organization Leadership and Communications from Penn State and master’s in Organizational Performance\,  she is passionate about shaping HR decisions that empower workforce development for the future.  \n\nJane Pomeroy\, Chief Communications Officer at Lumina Alliance\, has lived and worked in this community for over 20 years.  An advocate\, activist\, and community organizer\, Jane has cultivated a passion for violence prevention as a tool for building healthy\, thriving communities. She has a rambunctious four year old son named Charlie\, a cheerful eight month old girl named Ruby Alice\, and Craig\, her doting husband with whom she is surviving parenthood (barely). \n\nKellie Conn is the Senior Director\, People & Culture Business Partnerships at Mindbody\, Inc. She specializes in growth planning\, team effectiveness\, and communication with a focus on strategy\, team development\, leadership\, and culture. A proponent of aligning the company’s vision with the team’s to develop a strong connection between individual\, team\, and company goals and outcomes. \n\nHillary Trout is the Chief Financial Officer for iFixit. She leads iFixit’s Internal Services Department and collaborates closely with her colleagues on ensuring the successful retention and recruiting of top talent. This includes ensuring that iFixit’s benefits package is adequately funded and resourced to ensure that iFixit’s employees are well supported in their jobs\,  including and especially family-friendly practices. \n\nAshley Shoals started her career with ASI in 2006 as an ASI Children’s Center classroom assistant while attending Cal Poly\, and by 2009\, Ashley transitioned into a full-time teaching position. During her time as a teacher\, she had the opportunity to work with children of various ages—from infants to kindergartners. Ashley was a head teacher in the preschool classrooms before transitioning to her role as interim director. Ashley enjoys being a part of the growth and learning that happens for the children\, families\, staff\, and students at the Children’s Center.
