DESCRIPTION:The San Luis Obispo County Jazz Federation is proud to present their 39th Annual Jazz Piano Showcase on Sunday June 2 at 4 pm at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church in SLO.  The concert will feature some of the best pianists in the area: Jim Barnett\, Mark Bocchicchio\, George Garcia\, Bob Harway\, Marshall Otwell and Madison Scott accompanied by Dylan Johnson on bass and Darrell Voss on drums. DESCRIPTION:About the 2024 Short Range Transit Plan: \nSLO Transit and the San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority (RTA) are in the process of updating their respective Short Range Transit Plans (SRTP). The two agencies have retained LSC Transportation Consultants\, Inc. to update each SRTP. This plan is a complete five-year business plan aimed at improving the transit experience for residents and visitors alike. The Short-Range Transit Plan is a road map that helps SLO Transit make important decisions about how to run their buses and improve their services. It gives SLO Transit a plan to follow for the next five years\, so they know what changes to make and how to make transportation better. By addressing current challenges and identifying future needs\, the SRTP aims to create a more efficient\, reliable\, and sustainable transit system that meets the diverse needs of the community.

This roundtable will give you added support in your leadership role. \n\nThis roundtable is for those who hold the top\, paid staff position in their nonprofit organization and are working under the direction of an established board of directors. It is our aim to foster stronger connections with one another and feel “safe” when sharing within the group. Note: As we meet in Zoom\, we request that participants display their name and organization and have their video on. \n\nThe roundtable will be held in Zoom. You will receive the Zoom link upon registration. Note: Registration limited to the first 12 registrants; also\, we need a minimum of 6 for a really useful roundtable.

The two agencies have retained LSC Transportation Consultants\, Inc. to update each SRTP. This plan is a complete five-year business plan aimed at improving the transit experience for residents and visitors alike. The Short-Range Transit Plan is a road map that helps SLO Transit make important decisions about how to run their buses and improve their services. It gives SLO Transit a plan to follow for the next five years\, so they know what changes to make and how to make transportation better. By addressing current challenges and identifying future needs\, the SRTP aims to create a more efficient\, reliable\, and sustainable transit system that meets the diverse needs of the community.

DESCRIPTION:Play Grove is a new garden enrichment program launching in the Fall of 2024 for 3-5 year olds right here in San Luis Obispo at our central garden on Laureate Lane. As an extension of One Cool Earth’s seasoned learning model\, we know that children grow best when learning outside through play. We are a nature-based and place-based enrichment program. This means we use the environment as our guide as we play\, grow\, create art\, garden\, and learn together.  Play Grove will allow young children to access this experience alongside enthusiastic playworkers in a nature-based environment.
