DESCRIPTION:The Stylistics are bringing their “Falling in Love With My Girl Tour” to San Luis Obispo. With the charisma\, style and harmony of Airrion Love and Herb Murrell (from the original lineup)\, along with Jason Sharp\, The Stylistics were one of the best-selling bands in Philadelphia\, where they formed in 1968. \nThey will perform classics such as “Betcha by Golly Wow” \, “I’m Stone in Love With You” \, “You Make Me Feel Brand New” \, “You Are Everything” and\, “Can’t Give You Anything but My Love.” \nIn February\, The Stylistics will release Falling in Love With My Girl\, a star-studded album featuring world-renowned artists singing with the group on all-new songs. \nOver the years\, The Stylistics have accumulated seven gold albums\, five gold singles\, two double-gold singles\, eight platinum albums\, one double-platinum album\, four platinum singles\, a Grammy nomination in 1974 for “You Make Me Feel Brand New” and a plaque on the Walk of Fame in Center City\, Philadelphia. In May 2004\, they were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. \nSir Eltom John (Tom’s Elton Tribute) will open for The Stylistics.
