SUMMARY:SLO Little Theatre presents The Music Man
DESCRIPTION:Book\, Music & Lyrics by Meredith Willson. Story by Meredith Willson & Franklin Lacey. An affectionate paean to Smalltown\, U.S.A. of a bygone era\, Meredith Willson’s THE MUSIC MAN follows fasttalking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City\, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize – this despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian\, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall.

SUMMARY:SLO Children Museum Art Activity
DESCRIPTION:Art Center Activity: Shark Skin. Shark skin looks very smooth and soft\, but is really tough like armor with a texture like sandpaper. Cut a dorsal fin from smooth paper and add sand to make it scratchy.
