SUMMARY:Festival Mozaic Notable Encounter Insight with Hindemith Clarinet Quintet
DESCRIPTION:Join the musicians in a discussion of this important work for clarinet. One of the most important German composers of the 20th century\, Paul Hindemith wrote in a neoclassical style that borrowed heavily from Bach. The five-movement clarinet quintet is unusual in that its last movement is exactly the same as the first movement\, except performed in reverse.
