SUMMARY:East Wellbeing & Tea hosts Meditation with Dr. Ann Marie Tommey
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Tommey is an Ob/Gyn who has devoted her entire practice to natural hormone balancing\, using meditation to promote a physical sensation of deep peace and safety in the body. Chronic stress causes disease\, but when you feel safe\, even for a short period of time\, the body relaxes and the doorway for healing is opened. When the body’s hormonal system relaxes on a regular basis\, there is a shift in our physiology. These practices create a body memory of what safe\, calm and relaxed feels like. This memory then carries into our day to day lives\, opening space for deeper breaths and more freedom from hormonally driven stress reactions. \nA $10 donation is appreciated for the class.
