SUMMARY:SLOPD Presents Free Bicycle Registration and Engraving Program
DESCRIPTION:The San Luis Obispo Police Department has seen a significant rise in the number of bicycle thefts recently. We have been diligently working on this problem and while doing so we have confiscated a number of bicycles that we cannot find the owners. Registering bicycles deters theft and helps locate the bicycle owner in case of loss. Ideally\, the owner needs the serial number to report a lost or stolen bicycle to the police\, but most people do not have this number readily available. However\, when a bicycle is registered and/or engraved police can quickly locate the record\, greatly enhancing the investigation.\nOn Saturday May 14th from 10 AM until 2 PM the San Luis Obispo Police Department will register bicycles at the police department. We will also engrave your driver’s license number on your bicycle if you wish. Bicycle registration and engraving programs increase the likelihood of a bicycle being located and returned if lost or stolen.\nCitizens who wish to participate in this free program can show up at the police department with their bicycle and driver’s license or state issued id anytime between 10 AM and 2 PM on this Saturday.

SUMMARY:Vina Robles Amphitheatr Presents Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience
DESCRIPTION:The Vina Robles Amphitheatre Box Office will only be open for ticket purchases on Saturday\, February 27 from\n10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.\nFollowing on the heels of their successful winter tour\, acclaimed drummer\, Jason Bonham has just announced plans to embark on an extensive North American tour with his band\, “Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience” with a date at Vina Robles Amphitheatre on Saturday\, May 14. Visit www.jasonbonham.net for complete tour and ticket information including fan presales and special VIP Experience packages.\nEncompassing hits from the iconic band’s entire career\, including albums Led Zeppelin\, Led Zeppelin II\, Led Zeppelin IV and Physical Graffiti\, the concert event celebrates the life and music of Jason’s father\, the legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham\, with “…a band that recreates Led Zeppelin’s music to such a degree that one can’t help but close their eyes and simply listen…” [-Classic Rock Revisited\, Sept. 2010].\nJason Bonham\, who famously filled in for his dad\, the late-John Bonham\, said of The Experience: “It’s part storyteller\, with using the multimedia screens and things\, we’re creating little pieces which I will narrate over\, which give some little background over some songs we play — and the reason why I’m playing them. There’s stories of myself growing up with dad and how Zeppelin has been\, y’know\, part of my life from the beginning.”\nDoors open for show at 6:30 pm
