DESCRIPTION:OP C.O.Y. CLASSIC – CELEBRITY GOLF TOURNAMENT\nOp C.O.Y. (Operation Coaching Our Youth) is excited to host our Op C.O.Y. Classic Celebrity Golf Tournament and Dinner fundraiser. The proceeds from this event will benefit a sports-based\, residential camp for at-risk adolescent males. Our special celebrity guest is Major League Hall of Famer and former St. Louis Cardinal\, Ozzie Smith.  He will play in the tournament and be the guest speaker at the dinner which will be held at the Alex Madonna Expo Center.  He will be joined by several retired NFL players\, local officials and community leaders.  Major sponsors will receive passes to an exclusive “Meet and Greet” reception with Ozzie Smith on Thursday\, June 2nd. Click the “Bid to Play Golf with Ozzie Smith” and the “Sponsorships” buttons for details. \nSponsorships can be purchased\, now.\nBidding to play golf with Ozzie Smith will open on Wednesday\, February 10th.\nTournament registration begins Tuesday\, March 1st.\nFor those not interested in playing golf\, dinner tickets can be purchased starting Tuesday\, March 1st.  Individual dinner tickets can be purchased for $75.00; a table that seats 10 can be purchased for $750.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that Major League Baseball Hall of Famer and former St. Louis Cardinal\, Ozzie Smith\, will be the special celebrity guest at our 2016 fundraiser. He will be joined by several former NFL players and local celebrities. Tournament sponsorship opportunities and other details will be forwarded in early January in our next newsletter. The “MVP” sponsorship level includes an opportunity to bid to play 18 holes of golf with Ozzie Smith. Major tournament sponsors will receive passes to attend a “Meet and Greet” reception with Ozzie Smith and other celebrities on the evening of June 2nd.  \nRegistration for the tournament will open on March 1\, 2016.  It will be held at the Avila Beach Golf Resort followed by dinner at the Alex Madonna Expo Center. (Dinner tickets will be available for purchase for those who do not wish to play golf.) DESCRIPTION:Every first Friday\, hundreds of visitors converge on downtown SLO to see new art exhibits and add to their growing collections. With dozens of galleries and non-traditional exhibit spaces\, it’s SLO’s favorite night of the month to celebrate art for free! Though many shops are open earlier\, Art After Dark officially starts at 6pm and runs to 9pm. \nOn a typical Art After Dark\, over 20 galleries and non-traditional art venues (think restaurants\, boutiques\, and salons) spotlight the best of established and emerging local artists. They sometimes also feature the works of nationally and internationally acclaimed artists. Expect sore feet and creative juices to be flowing from 6 to 9pm on the first Friday of the month.
