Local artists present their beautiful\, whimsical\, and functional art glass\, fine jewelry\, textiles\, home décor\, woodwork and ceramics and much more— transforming the Nybak Wing into an art boutique. Now in its 30th year\, this fundraiser benefits SLOMA’s youth art education classes and our local artists. \nDuring the Craft Art Market\, SLOMA is open every day from 11 am to 5 pm\, beginning November 25 through December 30 from 11am – 5pm. SLOMA closes at 3 pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve and will be closed on Christmas and New Years Day.

A testament to the many facets of personal family history\, Bloodlines is an exhibition of encaustic artworks by Flo Bartell on view at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art McMeen Gallery from December 2 – January 29\, 2017. A public opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday\, December 3 from 3–5 PM. Bartell will also give an ARTalk and exhibition tour at SLOMA on Saturday\, December 11 from 2–3 PM. The name will be read at the Light Up A Life Remembrance Ceremony selected.\nThis year Remembrance Ceremonies will be held in Pismo Beach (Dec. 4)\, Nipomo (Dec. 5)\, San Luis Obispo (Dec. 6)\, Morro Bay (Dec. 7)\, Atascadero (Dec. 8)\, Arroyo Grande (Dec. 8)\, Paso Robles (Dec. 9)\, and “Paws to Remember” (SLO Dec. 12).\nAll donations to Light Up A Life are tax-deductible and support Hospice of San Luis Obispo County programs offered at no cost to those who seek our services.
