These women primarily come from San Luis Obispo\, Santa Barbara\, Ventura\, and Kern Counties.  They come to Captive Hearts either by Court appointment\, or because they are desperate\, with nowhere else to turn.  Many have tried other sober living facilities in our county but did not receive the in-depth care with certified counselors that the Captive Hearts home provides.  The organization also offers its clients transitional housing where they can seek employment\, have their own car and cell phone once they have graduated the entry program.  The program currently has a 78% success rate with an excellent name in our community among judges\, probation officers and attorneys.  Captive Hearts also operates its Second Chances Store at 911 W. Grand Avenue in Grover Beach. \n  \nThis show’s concert sponsor is certified financial planner Clifford Cook.  Cliff is with Morgan Stanley on the Central Coast. \n  \nEmployees from the overall series sponsor Rabobank will be on hand at the show.  Rabobank has supported the Village Summer Concert Series since its inception in 2006 and its charming representatives greet concert attendees at every show with smiles\, free Richetti Water and other surprises!  Major media sponsors for the 2018 Series are KSBY-TV joined by new radio sponsors: 95.3 The Beach & 94.9 KPIG.  Additionally the series receives promotional support from Big Big SLO\, the Five Cities’ community radio station KYXZ 107.9FM and the family of Simply Clear Marketing newspapers: the Coast News\, the Avila Beach News and the Bay News. \n  \nThe South County Historical Society’s famous all beef hot dogs\, Doc Burnstein’s ice cream novelties\, popcorn\, drinks and more are for sale at the shows.  New this year: Figueroa Mountain Beers and Arroyo Grande Area Wines will be sold to benefit the Arroyo Grande Rotary Club and the Historical Society.  In a short five years\, “Fig Mountain” has become one of the fastest growing craft breweries in America.  The Brewery offers six taprooms on the Central Coast including their Arroyo Grande location on East Grand Avenue.  Phantom Rivers Wine will be the featured winery at the August 12th show.  Its award winning wines are created from locally sourced grapes.   Phantom Rivers’ quaint tasting room was the first to open in the Arroyo Grande Village several years ago and is located at 211 E. Branch Street.  The tasting room’s front porch is a favorite sipping location for locals and tourists! \n  \nThese free summer concerts are held at the Rotary Bandstand in Heritage Square Park from June through September.   Special raffles benefitting the Featured Nonprofit Organizations and various displays will further enliven the concerts.  Music fans can also explore Heritage Square Museums\, antique shops and restaurants in the historic Arroyo Grande Village.  Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs\, blankets and their friends and neighbors to enjoy the afternoons under the sun!  Refer to www.facebook.com/AGVillageConcerts and AGVillageConcerts.com or call 805-473-2250 for more information on the Village Summer Concert Series and the VIA’s other community events. \n### \n  \n2018 AG Village Summer Concert Series \n  \nSeries Sponsor: Rabobank \nMedia Sponsors:  KSBY\, 95.3 The Beach & 94.9 KPIG\, Big Big SLO\, Coast News\, FM107.9 \nFood for sale by the South County Historical Society \nFigueroa Mountain Beers and Arroyo Grande Area Wines for sale by AG Rotary Club and SCHS \nAug 12: \nBand:  Central City Swing (17 pc. big band jazz) \nSponsor:  Clifford Cook\, Morgan Stanley \nFNP:   Captive Hearts \n  \nAug 26: \nBand: Mama Tumba (Afro-Latin dance band) \nSponsor:  Scott Astrosky – Farmers Insurance \nFNP:   KYXZ – FM107.9 – Excellent Community Radio \n  \nSept 9: \nBand:    Mariachi Autlence and a Ballet Folklorico TBD \nSponsor:  Phillips 66 – Santa Maria Refinery \nFNP: Basin Street Regulars/Jazz Jubilee by the Sea
