Roger Rapoport was one of the primary journalists to cover Hearst’s kidnapping\, as well as her subsequent trial for crimes committed alongside her kidnappers. In this work of historical fiction\, the author explores alternative theories of the crime and delves into the complex psychology of many of the key actors in a drama that kept the country riveted. \nAward winning film producer\, publisher\, author and investigative journalist Roger Rapoport has covered the Patty Hearst story for half a century. This book is the culmination of years of research and illuminates a controversial chapter in the Hearst Family’s history.
