SUMMARY:Spokes Presents | Executive Director/CEO Roundtable
DESCRIPTION:Executive Director/CEO Roundtable \nServing as Executive Director or CEO is hard work. At times\, it can be lonely work. In this roundtable you’ll gather with other Executive Directors and CEOs to share challenges\, brainstorm solutions\, gain facilitation skills and build connection with each other. This roundtable will give you added support in your leadership role. \nThis roundtable is for those who hold the top\, paid staff position in their nonprofit organization and are working under the direction of an established board of directors. It is our aim to foster stronger connections with one another and feel “safe” when sharing within the group. Note: As we meet in Zoom\, we request that participants display their name and organization and have their video on. \nThe roundtable will be held in Zoom. You will receive the Zoom link upon registration. Note: Registration limited to the first 12 registrants; also\, we need a minimum of 6 for a really useful roundtable. \n\nFacilitator: Michael Simkins\, Ed.D.\nMichael has been a member of several nonprofit boards and served as board secretary\, treasurer\, and president. His professional experience spans the education and nonprofit sectors from being a school principal in Los Osos and Cal Poly lecturer to acting CEO of a major Silicon Valley nonprofit. He is immediate past president at San Luis Obispo Repertory Theatre and president of his local property-owners association. Currently\, he is Spokes’ CEO.
