DESCRIPTION:Wine 4 Paws is a special weekend on the Central Coast when businesses come together to raise money for homeless pets. Join us this April!  \n In the meantime\, you can get Wine 4 Paws Logo Gear HERE – with proceeds going to our cause.  \nAnd on April 20 – 21\, choose from over 80 wine\, cider\, and olive oil producers throughout SLO County\, when they donate 10% of sales to Woods Humane Society. Voila!  You’ve just helped homeless animals in our area\, all while supporting local businesses. \nNo need to buy a ticket\, and you don’t have to pre-register. Visit the Wineries Page for a full list of who’s on board\, then download or print our FREE MAP\, available in 2024.  Head out in April and have a great time while helping homeless pets! \nWine 4 Paws was created to raise money for the furry ones waiting for loving homes more than a “take your dog wine tasting” weekend – but we get it! So\, if you do bring your dog we ask that you follow some guidelines\, found HERE.  \nCan’t make it in person? Guests will taste wine from 20 boutique Central Coast wineries\, meet the team behind the wines\, and enjoy savory food pairings curated by Hotel San Luis Obispo’s renowned Executive Chef Ryan Fancher and his team from the property’s Michelin-recognized modern steakhouse\, Ox + Anchor\, and onsite Italian restaurant\, Piadina. SUMMARY:SLO Master Chorale Sergei Rachmanioff
DESCRIPTION:The San Luis Obispo Master Chorale’s final concert of the 2023/2024 season features an a cappella performance of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil. His signature choral work\, this piece has become a fixture in choral repertoire\, standing as the crowning achievement of the “Golden Age” of Russian Orthodox sacred choral music. Much of the melodic material was drawn from ancient unison chants surrounded by the addition of three to ten vocal lines. \nThe music is for chorus a cappella\, the traditional vocal complement in the Russian Orthodox Church. The SLO Master Chorale will perform the All-Night Vigil in a rare concert given without the Master Chorale Orchestra. A dynamically diverse work\, members of the San Luis Obispo Master Chorale will be spread out all over the Performing Arts Center stage. The performance will conclude by 4:30 pm\, including a 20-minute intermission. \n
