DESCRIPTION:Andrew Goodwin Designs (AGD)’s MYLR Bookstore to host an art auction to benefit the Cal Poly Chapter of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS). Join the architecture and design community on Friday May 3rd from 5pm until 8pm at 1238 Monterey Street behind Hoagies! Art and crafts will be available for auction. A portion of all sales go to the AIAS to support their club and scholarships throughout the year. MYLR Bookstore will be open late to offer guest a wide variety of architecture and art books\, supplies\, and stationary. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

SUMMARY:The Thanksgiving Play at SLO Repertory Theatre
DESCRIPTION:A group of mismatched teachers and actors have been charged by the school district to devise an ethnically sensitive play to somehow celebrate both Thanksgiving and Native American Heritage Month. In order to be as respectful and accurate as possible\, the three white actors defer to the only Native American in the room for guidance and find their expectations of her insights are wildly misguided. In this wickedly funny satire\, this foursome must find their way through a hilarious thicket of assumptions\, historical perspectives and school district policies as the absurd pageant must go on!
