SUMMARY:Joint Short Range Transit Plan Update: Community Workshop Meeting
DESCRIPTION:About the 2024 Short Range Transit Plan: \nSLO Transit and the San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority (RTA) are in the process of updating their respective Short Range Transit Plans (SRTP). The two agencies have retained LSC Transportation Consultants\, Inc. to update each SRTP. This plan is a complete five-year business plan aimed at improving the transit experience for residents and visitors alike. The Short-Range Transit Plan is a road map that helps SLO Transit make important decisions about how to run their buses and improve their services. It gives SLO Transit a plan to follow for the next five years\, so they know what changes to make and how to make transportation better. By addressing current challenges and identifying future needs\, the SRTP aims to create a more efficient\, reliable\, and sustainable transit system that meets the diverse needs of the community.
