DESCRIPTION:Summer Youth Ride Free\n\n\nYouth Ride Free is a Rideshare program that allows K-12 students to ride the bus for free during summer months. No pass is required. Students simply present their student ID to the driver (when they’ve been issued one – for younger students this may not apply). \n\nYouth Ride Free 2024 Service Dates: Monday\, June 10 – Wednesday\, August 14* \n*San Luis Obispo Transit will provide free rides until Saturday\, August 24\, 2024. \n\nExclusions: Regular fares apply to all Runabout\, SLO Trolley\, Morro Bay Trolley and Dial-A-Ride services.  \n\n

SUMMARY:SLO County Environmental Education Coalition Summer Gathering
DESCRIPTION:We believe that every child in San Luis Obispo County deserves and benefits from\nenvironmental education. The purpose of the coalition is to build capacity for climate and\nenvironmental literacy inside and outside San Luis Obispo County classrooms.\nWe are a coalition of Environmental Education stakeholders that include nonprofits\, schools and\npublic agencies. We bring people together to collaborate on environmental efforts in the county.\nWe hope to build a future where every child receives climate literacy education\, both inside and\noutside the classroom.\nWe’re excited to have our second meeting of the SLO County Environmental Education\nCoalition on June 13th from 1:00-4:00pm. City Farm SLO will be hosting us this time! Our\ntheme for this time together is community resilience.
