DESCRIPTION:Summer Youth Ride Free\n\n\nYouth Ride Free is a Rideshare program that allows K-12 students to ride the bus for free during summer months. No pass is required. Students simply present their student ID to the driver (when they’ve been issued one – for younger students this may not apply). \n\nYouth Ride Free 2024 Service Dates: Monday\, June 10 – Wednesday\, August 14* \n*San Luis Obispo Transit will provide free rides until Saturday\, August 24\, 2024. \n\nExclusions: Regular fares apply to all Runabout\, SLO Trolley\, Morro Bay Trolley and Dial-A-Ride services.  \n\n

SUMMARY:Avila Beach 4th of July Pancake Breakfast and Doggie Parade
DESCRIPTION:Join the Avila Beach Civic Association for their annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast and Doggie Parade fundraiser! \nThe Pancake Breakfast will be from 8:30am – 11:00am at the Avila Beach Community Center\, located at 191 San Miguel Street. There will be pancakes\, a sausage or bacon option\, fruit\, orange juice and coffee. It costs $10 per person\, or $5 for those six years old or younger. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at the Avila Beach Community Center Office. \nThe Doggie Parade will begin right after the Pancake Breakfast ends at 11:00am; puppy sitters will be avilable at the garden during the breakfast. Call (805)627-1997 or email avilabeachcc@gmail.com for a registration form. Mail-in registrations must be received by July 3\, 2024. Please call or email for additional information. \nVolunteers and donations are welcomed.

DESCRIPTION:The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art is pleased to present Outlandish\, an NEA Our Town grant-funded exhibition by multidisciplinary artist April Banks. Including film\, mixed media\, ritual\, and sculpture\, Outlandish imagines a respite of mystery for those who most need it. This exhibition returns to and proceeds from ancient knowledge and harmony with nature\, world-building an alternate narrative toward a freer existence. \nThis exhibit will run from April 5th until July 29th\, 2024.
