Look for specialty tours\, winemaker dinners\, grape stomps\, music events\, and more to celebrate the harvest season. \nOctober traditionally has exceptional weather\, when days are warm and nights are cool\, a staple for Paso Robles Wine Country and a perfect time to take in the incredible colors\, sights\, and aromas of harvest. Come experience the most exciting time of year with us during Harvest Wine Month this October! \nHarvest Wine Month (HWM) is a themed month that does not feature a single marquee event\, but rather individual experiences at the area wineries. \nWe look forward to celebrating harvest with you in Paso Robles Wine Country!

SUMMARY:Central Coast Railroad Festival
DESCRIPTION:Happening the weekend of October 4th: the Central Coast Railroad Festival. \nCome see visiting layouts and vendors.  See the presentations\, this year with an emphasis on the Pacific Coast Railway.  Did you ever wonder how telegraphs work?  Then visit Matt Schnittker’s telegraphy table\, with a large working model where you can see it in action.  Visit the 1200 sq. ft. model where you can find historic representations of local railroads. \nThe fun starts on FRIDAY. \nIf you want to support the Museum and have fun at the same time\, go to the House of Bread at 1025 Farmhouse Lane\, across Broad from the SLO Airport.  Between 4 and 6 pm on FRIDAY\, OCTOBER 4th\, Ken Green and Debbie Grozan will be your wonderful bartenders\, with music provided by talented local musician\, Eliza White.  You can order great food\, listen to great music\, and have your beer or wine served by our excellent docents.  And…half the profits go to the Museum.  What could be better – fun\, food\, music and profits!!! \n  \nFor more information on the event and how to get tickets see the San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum website linked below.
