SUMMARY:Essentials of Facilitative Mediation Training
DESCRIPTION:A dynamic 3-day workshop featuring trainers Steffanie Medina\, of Flow\, LLC\, and Samantha Watkins\, of Solve. With more than 25 years of combined experience in the field\, these trainers offer a comprehensive introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects of facilitative mediation. This course is meant for anyone interested in expanding their communication skills and learning how to prevent\, manage\, and resolve conflict. \nA portion of the proceeds will go toward the local nonprofit\, Collective Good\, a 501(c)3 organization supporting conflict resolution on the Central Coast. \nDiscounts available for nonprofit and public sector. Must be requested prior to completing registration. Space is limited\, so register early! \nLive In-Person Sessions – April 16th – 18th\, 2025 – in Avila Beach\, CA \n\n\nWednesday April 16th 9:00am – 4:30pm \n\n\nThursday April 17th 9:00am – 4:30pm  \n\n\nFriday April 18th 9:00am – 12:00pm (with optional 1:00 – 3:00pm practice session) \n\n\nParticipants will receive a certificate of completion for 16 -18 hours of basic mediation training. Those interested in extending their learning often choose to join the Facilitative Leadership Working Group post-training. Learn more here. \n*Tuition is non-refundable.
