DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Cultural Heritage Committee meeting at City Hall on Monday\, September 29\, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. to share your thoughts on SLO’s historical properties and how they should be preserved. Whether you own a historic property\, live in a historic neighborhood\, or care how our city’s past is honored\, your input matters. \nSan Luis Obispo has a rich history with layers of cultural heritage that span centuries. To ensure that this history is preserved for future generations\, the City has embarked on a two-phased project to update its current list of historic properties (also called the Historic Resources Inventory) over the next few years. \nThis meeting will provide an overview of Phase 1 of the project\, which includes proposed updates to the local law that establishes how the City identifies and protects historic properties and districts in SLO\, criteria for designation and guidance to accurately determine what is historically significant
