SUMMARY:SPOKES CalSavers Compliance: What Every Nonprofit Employer Should Know
DESCRIPTION:This is a FREE Spokes event \nDo you have one or more employees? Then you must comply with CalSavers\, California’s state-sponsored retirement savings program. If you have five or more employees\, you are already required to be in compliance. Employers with even just one employee must be in compliance by December 31\, 2025. CalSavers provides workers who don’t have access to an employer-sponsored plan with an easy\, automatic way to save for retirement through payroll deductions. \nDesigned for nonprofit leaders and staff who manage retirement plans\, including executive directors\, HR and finance professionals\, operations managers\, and board treasurers\, participants will learn what CalSavers is and what requirements the State of California has for employers. The session will also cover how to get in compliance before the deadline\, and the options available for employers when choosing a retirement plan.
