DESCRIPTION:The San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG)\, in partnership with Caltrans\, San Luis Obispo County\, City of Morro Bay\, Community of Los Osos\, the Morro Bay National Estuary Program (MBNEP) and California State Parks invites community members to attend a public workshop on Wednesday\, October 22\, 2025\, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at El Morro Church of the Nazarene\, 1480 Santa Ysabel Avenue\, Los Osos. \nThe workshop marks the second major community event for the Morro Bay Estuary Climate Resilience Transportation Plan—a long-range effort to protect the roads\, bike routes\, and coastal access that connect Morro Bay and Los Osos. SUMMARY:Master Class with Sophie Shao
DESCRIPTION:Festival Mozaic’s Artist-in-Residence Sophie Shao leads a free master class for cellists from San Luis Obispo. Master classes are great opportunities for young performers. Each student will play a selection for Ms. Shao\, after which she will work with the students for 20-30 minutes offering constructive feedback: suggestions on musical ideas\, practice techniques\, and more.
