DESCRIPTION:The City of San Luis Obispo is excited to invite community members to celebrate 42 years as a Tree City USA at its annual Arbor Day celebration on Saturday\, November 1\, at 9:00 a.m. at Santa Rosa Park. This family-friendly event is designed to educate and empower residents to take an active role in nurturing our urban forest. \nArbor Day event attendees will not only be able to hear from City staff and partners\, but they’ll also be able to receive a complimentary tree provided by Cal Poly. Trees will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis as trees are limited.

DESCRIPTION:JOIN US AT THE FARM ON THE FIRST SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH! ​ We offer a public tour of our regenerative farm on the first Saturday of the month. Our Community Farm Tours operate on a pay-what-you-can basis with a suggested donation of $20 per person. ​ The Experience: Learn about our regenerative agriculture practices\, visit our sheep and chickens\, go on a taste tour\, get your hands dirty with a farm project\, and harvest fresh fruits and veggies to take home! This 60-90 minute tour is perfect for all ages! Please register 48 hours in advance. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows! ​ Pets Policy: As we are a working farm\, we do not allow pets. Service dogs are allowed only if they have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. ​ Photo Release: We will be taking photos and possibly videos to use on our website\, social media\, and other media outlets. By attending City Farm SLO programs\, you agree to our photo and video release policy.
