DESCRIPTION:Festival Mozaic is proud to welcome back violinist and singer Lucia Micarelli for an intimate performance at the Harold J. Miossi Cultural & Performing Arts Center at Cuesta College.\n\nLucia’s latest project “ANTHROPOLOGY\,” is a journey through the rich and living history of folk and roots music from around the world.  Led by Lucia on violin/vocals and featuring Eric Byers (cello)\, Nathan Farrington (bass/vocals)\, the trio revisits songs passed down across time and continents\, and reshaped by each generation.  From Renaissance and Baroque to traditional tunes of the Balkans and the Scottish Highlands to 18th century Appalachian music to the soul-stirring contemporary narratives of Nina Simone\, Joni Mitchell and beyond.  The performance is a living archive of the stories of everyday people and the shared human experience.
