DESCRIPTION:ACT at San Luis Obispo Repertory Theatre presents: HEROS. Celebrate the songs and stories of musical theatre’s greatest heroes! In this class\, students will explore inspiring numbers from Broadway and beyond—learning vocal technique\, storytelling through song\, and stage performance skills. Each week combines focused vocal study with ensemble rehearsal as students bring these heroic characters and their unforgettable songs to life. The class will conclude with a celebratory performance for family and friends. \nThis program will take 10 students ages 10 -14. DESCRIPTION:This year Orchestra Novo will be collaborating with the Kiwanis Aktion Club and Escuela Del Rio for Co-Creation VIII\, our music and art project that brings together marginalized and underserved populations within our community with the transformative and resonant power of music. Joining us will be the Cuesta College Chamber Singers in Morten Lauridsen’s deeply riveting O Magnum Mysterium. \nThis “All-Strings Attached” concert will also feature the Keiko Cadby Tango Ensemble as we travel to South America for “A Touch of Tango” in all it’s colorful musical glory.  We look forward to sharing this powerful and moving experience with you.
