This session we are basing our class around the beloved children’s author and illustrator\, Eric Carle (Brown Bear Brown Bear\, The Hungry Caterpillar\, The Very Busy Spider). SLO REP’s ACT classes are a great way to develop motor and speaking skills\, build confidence\, and enhance early social skills and creative learning. With new class material each session\, this is a great class to repeat! Parents and caregivers are encouraged to help supervise their child in-class and are also welcome to participate.

Join Melissa and create a bookmark\, bracelet\, wine charms and keyring with aluminum! \nMelissa has been metal stamping for over 15 years and in this Workshop\, she will share her skills\, teaching you the basics to working with the metal and tools that make up this fun art form. We will be using aluminum blanks\, first practicing to get the feel of it and then moving into creating several products for you to take home to include an aluminum bracelet\, a keyring\, a set of earrings and a set of four wine charms. \nPerfect for beginners and advanced alike\, this Workshop is 2.5 hours long and Melissa & Team will be hands-on creating with you the entire time. Participants must be 16 years or older. All supplies are provided – just bring your creativity and willingness to have fun.

The earliest known English opera\, John Blow’s tragedy “Venus and Adonis\,” will be paired with Jacques Offenbach’s witty one-act operetta “In the Market for Love.” Featuring singers\, musicians\, choreographers and directors representing all Cal Poly colleges. Fully staged and costumed with a small ensemble orchestra\, and sung in English with supertitles.
