DESCRIPTION:The City of San Luis Obispo Parks & Recreation summer camps offer a variety of fun\, hands-on programs for kids ages 4–13 during summer break. Camps include arts and crafts\, sports\, LEGO engineering\, outdoor adventures\, soccer\, golf\, farming activities\, and full-day adventure camps. \nThe art-focused camps let kids explore painting\, drawing\, and creative projects using different materials and themes like space\, nature\, and underwater adventures. Camps are designed to encourage creativity\, teamwork\, learning\, and active play in a safe and engaging environment. DESCRIPTION:Join Opera San Luis Obispo this summer for their two week Summer Opera Camp! \nOpera San Luis Obispo is proud to present its Summer Opera Camp\, a premier youth training program and one of the last remaining opera camps of its kind in the nation. \nThis year’s camp features The Mikado\, Jr. in partnership with Central Coast Gilbert & Sullivan. Students will learn\, rehearse\, and perform The Mikado\, Jr. in a fully staged production at the conclusion of camp\, while training at a professional level through one-on-one and group coaching in voice\, movement\, and collaboration\, master classes\, and performance preparation — then stepping directly onto the mainstage. \nAll campers are invited to perform in OperaSLO’s October production alongside professional singers and a full orchestra. \nFor more information\, or to register\, please see the Opera San Luis Obispo website linked below!
